Experimental Drawing // SOLD OUT

From the line to the silhouette, from surface to volume – in this workshop, participants are acquainted with the exhibition and its displays by sketching them. The workshop by illustrator Marielle Durand is conceived as a playful sketching tour at various stations. Like the Bauhaus preliminary course long ago, her workshop focuses on the materiality of things. How does one portray surfaces and textures on paper? The participants are given the chance to test and experiment with various drawing media.

Marielle Durand is an artist, graphic designer and instructor. She observes, analyses and portrays life and the people she meets in her sketchbooks. As a member of the organisation “Encrages”, Marielle Durand works with other artists to help people in precarious circumstances.

Practical tip: All required materials will be provided at the workshop. Workshop language: German
