In cooperation with the Bauhaus-Archiv, the fine artist Judith Raum has intensively studied the fabrics created by the textile designer Otti Berger (1898–1944). The joint publication Otti Berger. Weaving for Modernist Architecture is published by Hatje Cantz and presents a comprehensive overview of Berger’s works for the first time. Judith Raum will be on hand to introduce the concept of her book and her artistic research methods. Joined by the British design historians Tanya Harrod and Juliet Kinchin and her fellow Bauhaus-Archiv co-authors, she will highlight the significance of Otti Berger in the history of design and architecture.

Judith Raum is a fine artist and author. Her extensive monograph on Otti Berger is the culmination of a years-long artistic research project on Berger’s oeuvre.

Tanya Harrod is a freelance design historian and author of several prizewinning publications on handicrafts and design. She is currently a senior research fellow at the Paul Mellon Centre.

Juliet Kinchin is a design historian, lecturer and curator. She worked at the Architecture & Design department at the Museum of Modern Art in New York from 2008 to 2021.

Corinna Rader is a provenance researcher at the Bauhaus-Archiv in Berlin.

Esther Cleven is a curator for textiles, furniture and typography and manages the archive at the Bauhaus-Archiv. She significantly contributed to the research project and the publication.
