In 1925, László Moholy-Nagy published the first volume of the series that later grew to a total of 14 published ‘Bauhaus books’ and was responsible for their typographic design. On the cover of volume 14, Von Material zu Architektur [From Material to Architecture] (1929), he explores topics such as transparency, dematerialization and spatial perception in type.
