You can take our audio guide with you on your visit to the Bauhaus-Archiv. Find out more about the idea and programme behind the Bauhaus and about the teaching work, workshops and teachers at the famous college, about its various stages in Weimar, Dessau and Berlin, and of course about the most famous works produced.

The audio guide to the exhibition is included in the admission fee and is available in the following languages: German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Japanese and Chinese. You can download the whole audio guided tour in German and English for your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch and for Android devices – for use with the Bauhaus-Archiv app!

Big changes are coming!

From 6 to 20 March 2018 the museum must unfortunately remain closed, because of construction work. The bauhaus-shop and cafe will remain open, except on Tuesdays, 10 am - 5 pm.

From 21 March to 29 April 2018, during our special programme »Open House«, you can explore the exhibition galleries freed from all architectural elements added at later times, take part in architectural tours or personally participate in a sound-art installation and performance.

In the summer of 2018 the Bauhaus-Archiv will open a new venue in the rooms formerly occupied by the Kiepert bookshop in the Hardenberg House located at the corner of Knesebeckstraße and Hardenbergstraße. There we will inform you about all of our institution’s projects and continue to maintain contact with our visitors while the construction work is carried out. The bauhaus-shop also looks forward to greeting you there in future.

You will find more information on this website.
