One of his projects there was the Narkomfin building, a long residential block with various types of flats, which was built as part of the state\u2019s experimental construction programme for employees of the Ministry of Finance. Scheper was put in charge of the painting work. The colour scheme of the flats was tested in advance to determine the colours\u2019 effect on people\u2019s well-being. The walls of the small flats were painted in warm shades of pink and yellow, based on the root tone of the ceiling colour.
