  • The finale of the five-week OPEN HOUSE programme, which has featured the participatory sound artwork by artists Bill Dietz and Janina Janke as its defining structure, welcomes visitors with a ten-hour programme followed by a farewell party.

  • It will be hosted by Daniel Finger, who is well-known through his work as a presenter for rbb television and Radioeins, and it invites visitors to invigorate their powers of perception through contemporary forms of artistic expression. After morning yoga instruction by Patricia Thielemann, founder of Spirit Yoga, the artists Ulrike Brand, Tomomi Adachi and Ingo Reulecke will mark the beginning of their artistic-research project for the bauhaus 100 centenary celebration and students of the Hanns Eisler School of Music, Berlin, will perform a concert featuring the premiere of two works by composers Michaela Catranis and Cynthia von Knebel.

  • Films of the international avant-garde and “Jazz Standards and Beyond”, interpreted by the Johannes Metzger Quartet, Berlin, open up windows into the past and simultaneously build bridges to the present. Two poetry-slam performances by Bas Böttcher as well as architecture-related highlights from the magazine “bauhaus now” (Nikolas Flessa, Sten Hema), which will appear in May, provide impulses for engaging with the Bauhaus. Schoolchildren from the Bauhaus Agents programme will present their engagement with space in short dance performances. With their breakdancing, The Saxonz draw new kinetic impulses out of the space around them.

  • The words of farewell by Director Dr Annemarie Jaeggi and the final tones of the sound installation, to which visitors can contribute their voices until the very end, round off the programme before the space is turned over to Dj Femalemacho for a farewell party.
