From the Ernst-Reuter-Platz underground station (Hardenbergstraße exit), it is approximately 110 metres to the Temporary Bauhaus-Archiv. The route crosses a busy road without traffic lights and does not include tactile paving.

Visitors requiring assistance can arrange support for their journey to the Temporary Bauhaus-Archiv through BVG using the Muva app or the VBB Bus and Train Escort Service (tel. 030 – 34 64 99 40).

The Temporary Bauhaus-Archiv

The Temporary Bauhaus-Archiv is a large, bright space with plenty of windows. The entrance is at ground level. The door can be difficult to open, but our visitor services team is always on site and can also be reached by phone at +49 30 30641768.

As there are no partition walls within the space, so noise levels can increase when the venue is busy. The Temporary Bauhaus-Archiv consists of an exhibition area and the Bauhaus Shop.

The main area of the space is wheelchair accessible and includes seating areas. There is no tactile paving. A walkway approximately two metres high runs around the room; it is accessible from two sides and can be reached via a staircase at the entrance and in the Bauhaus-Shop. If you would like to shop in the Bauhaus-Shop, an online shop is also available.
The lighting and interior design in the exhibition area may vary depending on the exhibition.

The Bauhaus Lab

The Bauhaus Lab takes place on the ground floor of the space. Stools are available for seating. Please note that our headphones do not have a noise-cancelling function.
