Bauhaus@Gropiusstadt. Shaping the Neighbourhood
Lorem ipsum
The Bauhaus-Archiv / Museum für Gestaltung is putting the urban planning concepts of the 1960s to the test and, together with young people, exploring the question of what young residents of the Gropiusstadt housing estate need today.
The project “Bauhaus@Gropiusstadt. Shaping the Neighbourhood” aims to create spaces that bring people together and formats in which young people from Neukölln can actively shape the environment in which they live.
What inspiration can the Bauhaus provide in this context? With a team of experts and a wide range of creative activities, children and young people engage in artistic expression and develop their own ideas for shaping the spaces in which they live in an open-ended process. The creative activities are developed on site based on the wishes and interests of the young people, together with partners from our network.

The programme is centred around the opportunity for young people to familiarise themselves with artistic forms of expression, personally become active and discover their own individual strengths and talents.
