Bauhaus Lab: Jewelry from the hardware department

bauhaus-lab Kostenfrei Few seats
Zu sehen sind für den Workshop verwendetes Material und Schmuckentwürfe auf einem blauen Stoff.

Around 1940, Bauhaus artist Anni Albers and her student Alexander Reed created necklaces made from everyday metallic materials and objects. Reduced and yet amazingly noble, these pieces of jewelry appear. We want to elicit shimmering elegance from these seemingly worthless materials.

Please feel free to bring your own metal scraps such as screws, wire, nuts and sealing rings!

The workshop will be held in German but our facilitators can explain the tasks in English to you, too.

You are also welcome to drop by spontaneously and see if there are any workshop places available. However, please don't be disappointed if all places are taken.
