We experiment with geometric shapes and learn about Josef Albers' typeface, which is based on a combination of the basic shapes of circles, quarter circles and squares. From this, we develop our own typefaces and artistically formulate our protest ideas. We try out different sizes and colours, test and develop new compositions for a modular typeface. We print our creations on postcards and posters, which can be taken home.
The workshop will be led by Tahnee Godt and Dennis Fuchs.
