Bauhaus Lab: Lantern, lantern!

Free Of Charge Few seats
Craft workshop: Participants create colorful lanterns from paper and wire, surrounded by crafting materials.

One of the major celebrations at the Bauhaus was the Lantern Festival – from 1920 onwards, it was one of the highlights of Bauhaus life. With the dark season approaching, we invite you to join us in creating colourful lanterns. Inspired by the architecture of the future transparent entrance building of our new building on the Landwehr Canal and the historic Bauhaus festival, we will experiment with colours, shapes and light and build festive lanterns.

The workshop will be held in German but our educators can explain the tasks in English to you, too.

Feel free to drop by the Temporary Bauhaus-Archiv and see if there are any workshop places left. However, please don't be disappointed if all places are taken.
