We cordially invite you to the building site of our new museum currently under construction. During the three-day festival, you will have the chance to get a close-up view of the progress. The festival programme includes architectural tours, music, talks, artistic installations, performances and workshops for all.

  • The festival offers a unique opportunity to explore the construction site of the Bauhaus-Archiv / Museum für Gestaltung and get a first glimpse of its new architecture and design.
  • Festival opening hours:
    Friday, 19 September, 2–10 pm
    Saturday, 20 September, 10 am–6 pm
    Sunday, 21 September, 10 am–6 pm

    Admission
  • A free digital ticket is required to enter the festival. Tickets can be booked online either for specific program items or for two-hour time slots.
  • Admission cannot be guaranteed if you arrive later than your booked time slot.
  • For safety reasons, knives, weapons, glass bottles, and other dangerous items are strictly prohibited.
  • Dogs are not allowed on the premises, except assistance dogs.
  • Bags larger than A4 size are not permitted.
  • All bags are subject to inspection by security staff at the entrance.
  • Please follow all staff instructions at all times.
  • Barriers and restricted areas must be strictly observed.
  • Visitors are responsible for any damages caused by their actions.
  • The organizers reserve the right to exclude individuals from the event, especially in cases of non-compliance with the rules or in the event of extremist, discriminatory, racist, violent, or otherwise dehumanizing behavior.
  • Teachers, group leaders, and guardians are responsible for those in their care and must supervise them appropriately.
  • Please set mobile phones to silent during performances.
  • We recommend wearing sturdy footwear. High heels should be avoided for safety reasons.

    Accessibility

    Photography and Video Recording
  • Photos and video recordings will be made throughout the entire festival and on all parts of the grounds.
  • These will be used for public relations and documentation.
    By attending, you consent to being recorded.

    Zero Tolerance for Discrimination
  • The Bauhaus Archive / Museum of Design is a space for open and respectful exchange.
  • Discriminatory remarks, gestures, or unconstitutional symbols (e.g., on clothing) – especially of racist, antisemitic, sexist, or queerphobic nature – will not be tolerated.
  • This particularly includes violations of Article 1 of the German Basic Law (inviolability of human dignity).

    Liability
  • The organizer accepts no liability for personal belongings of participants.

    Escape and Emergency Routes
  • Please keep all passageways and marked escape routes clear at all times.
  • Emergency exits may only be used in case of emergency.
  • Temporary closures of certain areas may occur, e.g., due to construction. Please observe signage and announcements.

    In Case of Emergency
  • In an emergency, proceed to the nearest emergency exit.
  • Follow all instructions from staff without exception.

    Violations of House Rules
  • In the event of disruptions or violations of these rules, we reserve the right to exercise our house rights and deny further access, including permanently.
  • Criminal acts will be reported to the authorities.
