On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus, the Bauhaus-Archiv / Museum für Gestaltung, designed by Walter Gropius, is slated to undergo extensive renovation and expansion based on plans drafted by Staab Architekten. To mark the start of the renovation and expansion, a groundbreaking ceremony was held on 11 June 2019.
