Technology With Roman Lipski
Lorem ipsum
The second episode of the third season of About Bauhaus is dedicated to a concept that is closely associated with the Bauhaus: technology! Or, as Walter Gropius proclaimed in 1923, “Art and technology – a new unity”. But what does this relationship look like today, particularly in light of new technologies such as artificial intelligence?
This time, Adriana Kapsreiter speaks with Roman Lipski, a painter who found his own way out of an artistic crisis with the help of AI and has since developed a new perspective on “art and technology”. In his studio in Berlin-Kreuzberg, the two explore what happens when machines become co-creators in artistic processes, what role the human designer still plays – and what AI itself might think about the Bauhaus.
