  • The Bauhaus-Archiv acquired around 15% of the objects catalogued in its collection during the 1960s on the international art market. In 1964, 1965 and 1967 alone, more than 140 objects were purchased from the antiquarian art dealer Ben Weinreb in London. These rare bookbindings, prints, drawings and works from the preliminary course of the Bauhaus were largely created by artists of Jewish origin.
