Society

The Bauhaus-Archiv / Museum für Gestaltung was founded in 1960 as a non-profit association. Its aim was and continues to be “to collect and present all documents relating to the activities and cultural as well as intellectual heritage of the Bauhaus”. This includes photographs, books, designs, models and artworks, as well as the organization of exhibitions and accompanying programmes. To this day, the institution thrives on its members and their commitment.
