Even during our closure, we want to continue sharing the ideas of the Bauhaus with our visitors. That’s why the Bauhaus-Lab opens its doors every Saturday at the Temporary Bauhaus-Archiv.

Our team provides a space for creativity and artistic expression. The workshops offer inspiration — encouraging both general interest in art and giving experienced minds the freedom to explore new ideas. The workshops are open to all who enjoy experimentation and creative exchange – regardless of age.

Inspired by works from our collection and the teaching methods of the historical Bauhaus, we explore design-related questions through a wide range of approaches. These include photography and drawing, as well as craft techniques, colour, and sensory perception. Between tattooing lemons and building your own selfie filters, everyone will find a way to engage creatively in many different ways!

Several times a year, the special format Bauhaus-Lab Guests extends our Saturday morning programme by welcoming guest artists and their creative concepts. Through the Bauhaus-Lab On Tour, we reach out to our neighbours across Berlin.

Our upcoming dates.
