On three Fridays in June, Rotraut-Richter-Platz was transformed into an open workshop.

Clay took centre stage: visitors had the opportunity to explore different techniques, experiment and create their own pieces. Whether it was their first time at the potter’s wheel or they already had plenty of experience, everyone with an interest in creative expression was welcome.

The festival brought together the pottery workshops of Gropiusstadt and created space for new ideas, encounters and creative exchange between artists, art lovers and curious visitors.

A collaboration between Berlin Mondiale, dem Bauhaus-Archiv / Museum für Gestaltung, Young Arts Neukölln, Stadtvilla Global and the Ev. Familienzentrum Apfelsinenkirche. The Ceramic Festival is part of Bauhaus@Gropiusstadt and Gropius‘ Kulturinseln, funded by the Berlin Senate Department for Culture and Social Cohesion.
