Ticket sales for the first bauhaus music weekend in Berlin begin on 1 August. At the same time, the complete programme will be announced. The events will be held in the Meistersaal at Potsdamer Platz and the Temporary Bauhaus-Archiv at Knesebeckstraße 1 in Berlin-Charlottenburg. Visitors can look forward to three days of concerts, talks, tours and a workshop concert, highlighting how music influenced the atmosphere of the Bauhaus and became a normal part of everyday life among Bauhaus students and staff. Under the artistic direction of the musicologist Kai Hinrich Müller and the musicians Michal Friedländer and Karl-Heinz Steffens, the programme presents works which are inherently tied to the Bauhaus.
