To mark the recent publication of “Ise Gropius: Tagebuch 1924–1928. Eine Bauhaus-Chronik” (Ise Gropius: Diary 1924–1928. A Bauhaus Chronicle) the Bauhaus-Archiv / Museum für Gestaltung invites audiences to a live special edition of its “About Bauhaus” podcast at the Museum für Fotografie, presented in conjunction with the exhibition „New Woman, New Vision. Women Photographers of the Bauhaus“. Podcast host Adriana Kapsreiter explores the ambivalent world of “Frau Bauhaus”. Was Ise Gropius merely the woman at the side of her famous husband, Walter Gropius, or was she a role model for the “New Woman”? Her guests are cultural scholar Evke Rulffes and actor and director Roxana Samadi.
