In our new Bauhaus Lab workshop “Geometry? Himmeli!”, we experiment with dimensions, rhythm and structure, taking inspiration from traditional straw “Himmeli” ornaments.
On 15 October 2026, the publication “The Hess Family Guestbooks” will be presented, documenting the story of the Hess family and their connection to Weimar and the Bauhaus through two guest books.
Based on the motto “Sound as colour, colour as sound”, the festival focuses on the concept of synaesthesia on 13 and 14 November 2026, inviting the public to experience sound, colour, space, physicality and movement in a whole new way.
“Bauhaus Books No. 1 – The Women Photographers” presents 25 women photographers associated with the Bauhaus and, through numerous illustrations, brings to light their photographic work. The book is available at the Bauhaus-Shop.
