Bauhaus Cooperation

Under the title “Bauhaus Cooperation Berlin Dessau Weimar”, the Bauhaus-Archiv / Museum für Gestaltung, the Klassik Stiftung Weimar and the Stiftung Bauhaus Dessau, Germany’s Bauhaus research institutes and museums, are working together to realise joint exhibition and research projects. The first exhibition “Modell Bauhaus” was shown in 2009 at the Martin-Gropius Bau, Berlin and 2010 at the MoMA, New York. In 2012, the Bauhaus Cooperation published the Bauhaus Travel Book, with accompanying app, about Bauhaus sites in Germany and worldwide. In 2012, the Bauhaus Cooperation realised the exhibition “Bauhaus: Art as Life” in collaboration with the Barbican Art Gallery. The initiative “Triennale der Moderne” (Triennial of modernism), launched in 2013 and held in Berlin, Weimar and Dessau, focuses on the global legacy of architectural modernism in Germany. For the Bauhaus centenary in 2019, the Bauhaus Cooperation, together with the Bauhaus Association and all three Bauhaus institutions, stood behind the projects "Bauhaus Agents", "bauhaus imaginista", "Opening Festival" and "Grand Tour of Modernism".
