The Bauhaus-Archiv holds the world's largest collection of photographs on the history of the Bauhaus, but many of the pictures are hardly known. For the digital bauhaus_break, our colleagues from various departments at the Bauhaus-Archiv retrieve hidden treasures from our photo archives that are particulary intriguing to them. What is so magical about the spontaneous photo of a Schlemmer costume? What does a dreamy shot from a window reveal about the artist Marianne Brandt, who is otherwise known for her straightforward metalwork?
